I'll be away for the weekends, going on a trip to Port Dickson.. since i am sensing that i'll be too busy later on this year.. so i guess i'll take this opportunity to unwind.

It's that time of the year again, Ju Lah! group is calling existing members, recruiting artists and guest artists to join in to contribute for the second volume for the year 2007!

Our group was only established last year.. quite recently really.. The Group's name is "Ju Lah!" Whats that? its a phrase me and my friends usually use in our daily basis in Sarawak. So yeah, it's a Sarawakian Language. The meaning should be "Come La!" or "Lai La!" in formal english, "Bring It On!"


I've set a deadline for the submissions of the artworks. It's on the 30th October. If u wishes to join us, please send me a note or talk to me in MSN, my email is "darkness_Zend@hotmail.com" It doesnt matter where u are from.. The submission can be done online so dont worry.. i dont require the hard copies.. but please keep in mind.. those artworks must be originals.. and it must be done by u, and no one else.. unless its a collab by u and others.

The RULES are simple.

Group Artist's rules:

1. Must submit the artworks before the deadline (30th October)
2. Must do at least 8 pages or artworks (doesnt matter whether its comic or illustrations)
3. The artworks must be original, urs and urs alone, if u're doing a fanart, please say so.
4. Colored pages arent cumpulsory. If u were to do colored pages, its limited to 1 pages only. Colored pages arent cheap to copy.
5. Doesnt mind working with a bunch of n00bs (that'll be us)
6. Members are to pay a fee for joining the group. The fee will be confirm upon printing. becoz by then only we'll know the cost needed.
7. Do not show or upload ur artworks online before the book is published.
8. All artworks' data must be scanned to fit A4 size paper.
9. Members were to pay a yearly fee that are yet to be set.. it depends on the numbers of members. So i need confirmation A.S.A.P!

Guest Artist's rules:

1. Must submit the artworks before the deadline (30th October)
2. The minimum numbers of pages is 1. the maximum will be 3.
3. The artworks must be original, urs and urs alone, if u're doing a fanart, please say so.
4. Guest artist who wishes to do colored pages must infrom us first.. we'regiving a few selected guest artist only the privilage of colored pages.(depends on one's skills i guess)
5. Doesnt mind their artworks being use by the group however we want to.
6. Doesnt mind if their artworks arent selected to be printed. Because we might have too many guest artists.
7. Do not upload or show ur artworks online before the book is published.
8. All artworks must be scanned to fit A4 size paper.


The rules are subjected to changes at anytime.. its just a few basic understandable rules..

Deadline of submissions: 30th October

Submissions can be made online using data file or softcopies instead of hard copies.

Target price for a book: RM8-15.. hoping to lower the cost as much as i can. The price will be confirm in end of November.

Guest Artists will be choose by the members. If there's too many guest artist trying to contribute, we might have to select a few only from all of the guest artist.
